Former Clarke College students met on the old campus, now Central Mississippi Residential Center (CMRC) for their annual meeting. Registration, coffee, cold drinks, and other 'enjoyable's was between 8.00a.m. -9.00a.m.
The meeting began around 9.00a.m. in the old Lott Fine Arts Building on the west side of the campus. Some 30 people (13 registrants) were in the meeting. Meeting was called to order by Chester Estes, Jr., "'58" a former president of CCAA, 2003-05. Estes moderated, because of extenuating circumstances preventing Larry Costilow, Pres. and Dr. Jerry Moore, VP attended the meeting. Shirley Estes, "'56" present Sec/Treas 2005-11 was in charge of registration and records. Three former presidents were in the meeting: Sara Fox, Chester Estes, Jr. and Rick Tillotson.
The meeting, unlike previous meetings (no prescribed programs, etc.), was loosely, bur orderly, conducted. Mr. Frankie Johnson, PR, MCRC gave a word of welcome to the group gathered for the CCAA '11 meeting. Mr. Johnson also provided valuable information about the existence of CMRC on the old campus as a Mississippi health provider.

Cliff Davis and wife, Brando, MS, was there representing the Mississippi College - Clarke Group seeking possible merger. A larger group meets semi-annually at Lake Tiaka-O'Khata, Louisville, MS, in the Fall. There focus is classes '58,'59, '60 and '61.
